Mark Guerrero joined the Texas A&M University System: Office of Marketing & Communications in June 2021 and currently serves as a producer for the television show, Around Texas with Chancellor John Sharp where he was awarded the show's first Lone Star Emmy award in 2023. Mark develops and produces long-form content about the statewide system of 11 universities and eight state agencies. He also serves as a photographer for the A&M System office.
Before joining the "Around Texas" team, Mark spent three and half years as the lead multimedia producer for the Texas A&M Division of Marketing & Communications, where he was awarded numerous Telly awards and a Lone Star EMMY award for work on long-form signature content about the history and traditions of the College Station campus.
Originally from Donna, Texas, he earned a Bachelor's degree in 2012 and a Master's in 2015 from Texas A&M University.
